Description

A high grade of NTA acid is manufactured by Shiv Chem industries since 1987.We are leading manufacture and Exporter of NTA Acid. NTA is a Tri anionic ligand. Raw materials used for manufacturing NTA Acid are monochloro acetic Acid, soda ash, Ammonia, caustic lye and hydrochloric acid. It is sequestering agent or chelating agent. It is a white free flow powder, insoluble in water. It is also known as Nitrilotri acetic acid, Triglycollamic acid, Aminotriacetic acid or Tris (carboxymethyl) amine.

Handling

NTA acid causes serious irritant to eyes and skin. While handling this product, please wear goggles, gloves and safety shoes. Handle with care, no hooks allowed. In case of large spillage wash it with plenty of water. In case of injury to skin, wash it with water and then wash thoroughly with neutral soap and water. Regardless of the seriousness of the case, medical attention should be sought.

Storage

NTA acid is stored in a cool dry place. Ensure proper ventilation in storage area. Keep them away from heat sources, direct sun light and moisture. It is stored in container made of, or lined with polyethylene, polypropylene or high density polyethylene.

Packing

NTA acid is packed in 25 Kgs HDPE bag / Paper bag containing polyethylene liner inside, or as per customer's requirement.

Applications

• NTA acid is a chelating agent. It is used for water softening and as a replacement to sodium and potassium in detergents and cleansers.
• NTA as a chelating agent removes Chromium, Copper, and Arsenic from wood that had been treated with chromated-copper arsenate.
• NTA and its salts are used for removing unwanted inorganic impurities present in the system which helps in getting superior performance & cost saving.
• NTA is used as a metal coupled in the manufacturer of copper Phthalocyanine.
• NTA is indeed useful in fertilizers because it helps in enhancing the availability of essential metal ions like iron, zinc and copper to plants.
• These metal ions are critical for various plant functions, including enzyme activation, photosynthesis and overall growth.
• NTA is used as a stabilizer for hydrogen peroxide and as a chelating agent in the production of metal-based catalysts.
• NTA played a role in, medical diagnostics as a complexing agent in certain laboratory test result.
• NTA helps maintain water quality by preventing scaling and corrosion caused by metal iron. 
• NTA is also used extensively in the treatment at boil water to prevent accumulation of mineral scale.
