It is a light blue free flow powder. It is soluble in water. Copper EDTA is manufactured by reaction of EDTA acid, distilled water, caustic flakes and copper oxide or copper sulphate at high temperature. It is also called chelated copper EDTA, Cu EDTA , Ethylene diamine tetra acetic acid copper , Copper-disodium complex or copper disodium ethylene diamine tetra acetic Acid.

Handling

Copper EDTA causes serious irritant to eyes and skin. While handling this product, please wear goggles, gloves, and safety shoes. Handle with care, no hooks allowed. In case of large spillage wash it with plenty of water. In case of injury to skin, wash it with water and then wash thoroughly with neutral soap and water. Regardless of the seriousness of the case, medical attention should be sought.

Storage

Copper EDTA salt is stored in a cool dry place. Ensure proper ventilation in storage area. Keep them away from heat sources, direct sun light and moisture. It is stored in container made of, or lined with polyethylene, polypropylene or high density polyethylene.

Packing

Copper EDTA is packed in 25 Kgs HDPE bag / Paper bag containing polyethylene liner inside, or as per customer's requirement.

Applications

• Copper EDTA is a water-soluble micronutrient fertilizer that helps plants grow and develop. It's used to treat Copper deficiencies, improve plant health, and increase crop yield.
• Copper EDTA is commonly used as a foliar application in horticulture crops to address Copper deficiencies. Copper EDTA can be applied as a foliar sprays.
• Copper EDTA has been used as a chelating agent to enhance elimination of certain toxic metals. It also binds with heavy metals in the body.
